Clementoni wins fellowship

WESTFALL - Delaware Valley High School has announce dthat English teacher, Leslie Clementoni was selected as a 2006 American Society of Newspaper Editors High School Journalism Institute Fellow. She will attend a special program at the University of South Florida in Tampa from July 16-28. Miss Clementoni was one of thirty-five high school teachers who will attend the USF program. This year’s Institute, the sixth annual sponsored by ASNE, will provide the teachers in attendance with an opportunity to learn how professional journalists and daily newspapers work. Participants will acquire skills and tools that can be used in the production of a school newspaper. In addition, the teachers will gain knowledge to convey to their students a stronger understanding of and appreciation for the First Amendment.
