WESTFALL - Staff from the Delaware Valley High School newspaper, The Del.Aware, took a trip to Straus Newspapers in Monroe, New York, last week to learn a few things from the experts. Editors from several of the newspapers published by the company aided the students in the design of their newspaper’s front page and pointed out some helpful techniques. The eight students manned several computers around the busy office and began to learn how to use the new Adobe Creative Suite software. Journalism I and II classes have been added as elective courses at the high school for the 2007-2008 school year. With a larger student staff, bi-monthly publication of The Del.Aware is planned by Straus Newspapers.
