Milford. Thirteen hundred boxes of food will be delivered to the American Legion Post 139 on County Route 2001 in Milford at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 10. These boxes are 30 pounds each and packed with poultry, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products. This will be a drive-through pick up: pull up, pop your trunk, and a volunteer will load your trunk for you. There is no cost to anyone picking up food. The distribution is open to anyone in the tristate area. This will be the third food distribution organized by the American Legion since the pandemic began. Pictured are volunteers from the distribution held last October, front row (from left): Leah Cameron, Kaitlyn Leon, Steven Wollman and Scott Post; second row: Matthew Hoitsma, Nicholas Liebold, Christine Protsko, Patrick Horn; third row: Joseph Young.
