Attorney Ashley Zimmerman joins practice with Michael E. Weinstein
MILFORD — Michael E. Weinstein, Attorney at Law, announces that as of July 1, Attorney Ashley Zimmerman joined his practice and he has relocated his office to 406 Broad Street, in the heart of downtown Milford. Attorneys Weinstein and Zimmerman concentrate their practice in the area of Criminal Defense Law.
Attorney Weinstein, with more than 40 years of trial experience represents clients in all phases of complex civil litigation, ranging from the minimal to the most severe, and is qualified as a capital defender in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Weinstein has also represented clients in all aspects of the Federal Court system, New York State Courts and The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Attorney Weinstein is a graduate of Long Island University, 1965, and Brooklyn Law School, 1968. He is a founding partner of Weinstein, Schneider, Kannebecker & Lokuta. He now serves as “Counsel to the Firm."
Attorney Zimmerman is a 2003 graduate of Delaware Valley High School, 2006 graduate of College Misericordia and a 2010 graduate of Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. Zimmerman has been involved in extensive volunteer work in Port Jervis, N.Y., because of her grandfather’s (Past Mayor Ross Decker’s) deep seated connection with the city.
Zimmerman credits her interest in criminal law to her step-father, the late Timothy Mitchell, who was a local police officer. She is a current resident of Shohola, Pa. where she lives’ with her husband, Jayson.
After becoming an attorney in 2010 she began working for the Rechner Law Office in Honesdale, Pa. and is currently a Public Defender in Wayne County. She is excited to be joining teams with attorney Weinstein's firm, and is happy to be in Pike County.
