Black Bear Film Festival announces poster contest winner

The Black Bear Film Festival’s Board of Directors recently chose Laura Lippay’s poster design as the winner of its annual poster contest.
In a statement, the Board described the design as an “eclectic, bold and colorful bear illustration.” The image will be used at the 2024 Black Bear Film Festival. Lippay is a local artist whose work can be seen at the Gamut Art Gallery of the Poconos and The ARTery Gallery in Milford.
Additionally, graphic designer and Black Bear advisory board member Kathleen Marinaccio-DeAngelo developed the overall poster design and added recognition for the festival’s 25th anniversary.
“We’re so grateful to this artistic duo for their work and proud to show off their amazing work!” the board of directors stated in its announcement.
