Community meeting on county comprehensive plan slated for April 24

The Pike County Commissioners Office recently announced the release of the final draft on the “The Imagine Pike County 2035 Comprehensive Plan.”
As part of the release. the County is hosting a Community Collaboration Meeting on Wednesday, April 24 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Pike County Training Center at 135 Pike County Boulevard, Blooming Grove. The purpose of the meeting is for the public to learn about the planning process, plan recommendations, and plan adoption process, and to provide feedback on the final draft plan.

Following a brief presentation, there will be an open house with stations to review each of the plan’s focus areas. The meeting will be staffed by the County’s Comprehensive Plan Consultant Michael Baker International, and county staff. Learn more at pikepa.org/planning or by calling 570-296-3500.
