Delaware Valley Elementary School celebrates local veterans

The Delaware Valley Elementary School celebrated its veterans on November 10. The school invited the families and friends of local veterans for a parade and an assembly.
Sergeant Gary Williams spoke to the school about his experience in Vietnam and explained the equipment used. Williams’ grandchildren, Heidi Mai and Richard Mai, helped to show parts of his uniform.
After the assembly the veterans were welcomed into classrooms to answer questions, then invited for light refreshments.
