Milford. The Delaware Valley football team lost its first game of the season to the La Salle College Explorers, 27-23, on Friday, Oct. 2.

Timothy Mehlmann scored two rushing touchdowns, leading La Salle College High School to a 27-23 win over Delaware Valley on Friday, Oct. 2.
Matthew Bowes and Justin Machita scored a touchdown for La Salle (2-0)
Aiden Black, Mark Callanan and Cooper Kidd each scored a touchdown for Delaware Valley (0-1).
Football fans were not allowed to be inside the stadium because of Covid-19restrictions. Only essential personnel, The Delaware Valley High School Marching Band and cheerleaders were in attendance to watch the game. A few fans cheered the teams from outside the stadium fence.
