Delaware Valley students win High School Journalism Contest
Milford. The 2020 High School Journalism Contest attracted a variety of entries this year.



Congratulations are in order to the following high school student journalists at Delaware Valley High School.
The 2020 High School Journalism Contest attracted a variety of entries this year, resulting in a nice line-up of award winners. The organization forwarded 11 first-place entries to National Federation of Press Women for competition against first-place entries from other state affiliate organizations. Entries were accepted for material published between Jan. 1, 2019, and Dec. 31, 2020.
The winners from Delaware Valley High School include:
Review writing, third place – Ashlee Wilson
Sports photo, first place – Mary Quinn
Sports photo, honorable mention – Emily Jacobus
Single-page layout, first place – Brenna Cavallaro
Double truck layout, third place – Hannah Lee
At the national level, Quinn’s wrestling photo won an honorable mention, and Cavallaro’s single page layout with the Avengers display also won an honorable mention.
