Photos provided First Amato was interviewed by DVE-News/TV reporter Max Kiederer during the school's daily morning news broadcast, DVE-TV.

After the show, Amato (pictured with first grade Chloe Longhenry) spoke to the first graders in Colleen Hiller's, Paige Padgett's, and Amy Ross' classes. She spoke about the importance of good dental hygiene.

DVES School Nurse Donna Polanis also enjoyed their demonstration.

During this first grade assembly, first grader Chloe Longhenry (pictured holding Amato's purple dental patient) assisted as Amato showed the class how to properly brush teeth.
February is Dental Hygiene Month, and Delaware Valley Elementary School had a very special visitor to share information about this important health topic.
Judy Amato, a dental hygienist from Dr. Seth Horn’s and Dr. Dide Tosyali’s office in Port Jervis, visited DVES.
DVES students and staff would like to thank Dr. Seth Horn and Dr. Dide Tosyali for the gift bags of toothpaste and toothbrushes, and Amato (who visits the school every February) for a very informative and enjoyable demonstration of good dental hygiene practices.
