Anyone interested in participating in encouraged to bring a donation of non-perishable food to the Dingmans Bridge from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Sunday, November 5, through Monday, November 13. Just pull into the parking lot and place your items in the bin on the stone house porch. Look for the banner announcing “FOOD DRIVE DROP OFF.”
People dropping off food may enter into a contest to win one of five ticket books donated by the Dingmans Bridge. Write your name and phone number on a piece of paper and drop it in the raffle bucket at the drop-off site.
This year, the food pantry is especially in need of cranberry sauce, stuffing mix, canned corn and green beans, soups, gravy, muffin and bread mixes, pie filing and crusts and cereal. But note that the food pantry cannot accept outdated items.
