Dispositions in Pike County Court

Gudelio Sanchez-Vasquez, 34, of Shohola, Pa., was sentenced to 72 months to 12 years in a state correctional facility and fined $2,000 for 2 counts of the crime of Aggravated Assault. The state police were dispatched on Oct. 22, 2020, to a domestic dispute at a residence in Shohola Township, where Sanchez-Vasquez caused bodily injury by repeatedly kicking and punching an individual and striking the individual in the head with a rock and a frying pan.

Taylor Justin Moyer, 29, of Greentown, Pa., was sentenced to 6 days to 6 months in the Pike County Jail and fined $500 for the crime of Harassment. During a domestic dispute on May 18, 2021, at a residence in Greene Township, Moyer jumped on an individual and struck the individual with a closed fist.

Brian James Ort, 30, of Sparrowbush, N.Y., was sentenced to a fine of $500 for the crime of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana. Eastern Pike Regional Police were dispatched to the Matamoras Bridge where Ort was found unresponsive. Ort was found in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Noah Dimietri Ortiz, 22, of Scranton, Pa., was sentenced to 30 days in the Pike County Jail, followed by 5 years of probation, a fine of $1,500, and driver’s license suspension of 18 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or a Controlled Substance. The state police observed Ortiz on May 12, 2019, driving along I-84 in Dingman Township with his hazard lights on and a blown tire. Upon speaking with Ortiz, the trooper detected the smell of marijuana and observed Ortiz to be nervous and shaking with red, glassy eyes. Ortiz admitted to smoking marijuana prior to driving. Field sobriety tests showed impairment, and a blood test confirmed the presence of THC in his blood.

Michael Leonard Razny, 41, of Allentown, Pa., was sentenced to 45 days to 90 days in the Pike County Jail, fined $1,100, and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crimes of Driving Under the Influence, Operation without Ignition Interlock and the Summary Offense of Harassment. The state police responded to a powerline trail in Greene Township where Razny had driven his vehicle across and was stuck. When speaking with Razny, the trooper detected the strong smell of an alcoholic beverage. Razny admitted to drinking prior to driving. Razny threatened harm to an individual who attempted to assist Razny prior to the police arrival. Razny was also found to be driving without a prior court-ordered ignition interlock system.

Brian Patrick Anderson, 31, of Milford, Pa., was sentenced to 11 months to 23 months in the Pike County Jail and fined $1,000 for the crimes of Simple Assault and Prohibited Offensive Weapon. During a domestic incident at a residence in Dingman Township on Feb. 18, 2021, Anderson stabbed an individual in the face with a switchblade.

Steven Lee McVicker, 64, of Milford, Pa., was sentenced to 6 months of probation and fined $600 for the crime of Driving Under the Influence and the Summary Offense of Disorderly Conduct. On June 9, 2019, a taxi delivered McVicker to the Eastern Pike Police Department because McVicker refused to pay his taxi fare. McVicker became angered with the officers who attempted to calm him down. Eastern Pike Regional Police were dispatched to Wenlock Road and Route 6 & 209, where McVicker was driving erratically. When contact was made with McVicker, the officers detected the smell of marijuana and an alcoholic beverage. A search of McVicker and his vehicle revealed marijuana. McVicker refused to submit to a field sobriety tests or breath test.

Shaun Michael Wuchter, 40, of Greentown, Pa., was sentenced to 3 months to 6 months in the Pike County Jail, fined $1,000, and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. Wuchter was stopped by the state police at Hemlock Grove Road and Brink Hill Road on June 12, 2020, for an expired registration. When speaking with Wuchter, the trooper detected the smell of an alcoholic beverage. Wuchter stated that he had consumed alcohol earlier and was observed to have glassy, bloodshot eyes. Field sobriety tests showed multiple clues of impairment and a breath test confirmed a blood-alcohol content of 0.121 percent.

Tyler Allen Presto, 27, of Port Jervis, N.Y., was sentenced to 220 days to 18 months in the Pike County Jail and fined $500 for the crime of Retail Theft. On May 4, 5, and 7 of 2019, Presto entered a retail store in Westfall Township and took various items with a total value of $1,070 without paying for them.

Julian Tyrell Pisutvacharakul, 19, of Matamoras, Pa., was sentenced to probation for 18 months and a fine of $500 for the crime of Possession with Intent to Manufacture or Deliver a Controlled or Counterfeit Substance. The vehicle Pisutvacharakul was a passenger in was stopped by the Eastern Pike Regional Police on April 10, 2021, along Routes 6 & 209 in Westfall Township for no rear lights. When contact was made with the vehicle occupants, the officer detected the smell of marijuana. Pisutvacharakul was found in possession of marijuana.

Bryan Jacob Rossnagle, 35, of Port Jervis, N.Y., was sentenced to 18 months of probation and fined $500 for the crime of Forgery. Rossnagle put a counterfeit $20 bill in a change machine and received $20 in quarters at a business in Westfall Township on June 28, 2020.

Malcolm Desilva, 51, of East Stroudsburg, Pa., was sentenced to 5 days to 6 months in the Pike County Jail and fined $300 for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On June 2, 2020, the state police responded to Sugar Mountain Road in Lehman Township, where Desilva was involved in a one-vehicle crash. Desilva was observed to have glossy eyes, unstable footing, and empty beer cans in his pant’s pockets. Field sobriety tests showed signs of impairment. Desilva refused to submit to a blood test.
