On February 24, Pike County Light & Power (PCL&P) announced that it will be using Eagle Eye Drone imagery over the next few weeks to inspect pole tops and cross arms, checking for hot spots, failing equipment, and tree issues.
The electricity company asks residents not to approach the drone operator, as they are not allowed to engage with the public while flying. On Monday, the drone was scheduled to be in the air on Roberts Lane headed toward Milford, focusing on the river side of the highway. The drone operator’s vehicle will be a red Ford pickup. More updates can be found on PCL&P’s Facebook page.
