MILFORD — Local officers say every parent should attend the free Drug Awareness Seminar being offered from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 20, at the Dingman Township Volunteer Fire Department on Log Tavern Road.
Pike County Sheriff Phil Bueki and Delaware Valley School Police Martin Gaughan are offering the free seminar, designed to educate parents about drugs, alcohol and peer pressure in their neighborhoods and school district.
Presenters will include Bueki, Gaughan, and George Sacchi of Aliton's Pharmacy.
"This seminar is guaranteed to raise awareness!" the officers say.
Light refreshments will be served. Because of the disturbing content of the program, children should not attend.
