The Delaware Township Volunteer Ambulance Corps (DTVAC) recently announced the return of its annual Easter Plant and Bake Sale Fundraiser, scheduled for Friday, March 29, from 12 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will be hosted at the DTVAC ambulance station at 135 Park Road in Dingmans Ferry.

According to DTVAC, this year’s fundraiser will have an exquisite array of botanical treasures available for purchase, including hyacinths, tulips, daffodils, hydrangeas, lilies, kalanchoe (widow’s thrill), African violets, azaleas, and more. Dive into the beauty of spring with these meticulously selected plants that promise to add vibrancy to any home or garden.

In addition to the botanical delights, DTVAC will have a variety of tasty delights, including a tempting selection of homemade cakes, pies, cupcakes, and cookies. The 50/50 and other raffles give attendees a chance to win prizes. Beyond the festivities, DTVAC personnel will be available to discuss volunteer opportunities with the ambulance squad. Discover how your involvement can make a significant impact on community emergency medical services.

Also, during the daytime hours of the holiday weekend, DTVAC volunteers will engage in their annual Easter Weekend Coin Toss at the Dingmans Bridge on Route 739. All passersby are encouraged to contribute to the ambulance squad by dropping coins or cash into the provided buckets. Motorists are urged to exercise caution in the area for the safety of squad volunteers and bridge employees.

All proceeds garnered from these charitable endeavors will be directed toward the acquisition of life-saving emergency medical equipment and supplies. DTVAC is a non-profit organization that provides advanced emergency medical services to the residents and visitors of Delaware Township, Pike County, and the surrounding areas.
