Milford. The company helped with the installation of a new scoreboard.
On July 26, the Delaware Valley Educational Foundation announced an expanded partnership with Luhrs True Value Hardware to benefit the new stadium scoreboard project on the Delaware Valley school district’s main campus.
According to the school district, Doug Luhrs, DVHS Class of 1976, and Penney Luhrs, DVHS Class of 1978, have been longstanding supporters of the Education Foundation and are one of three cornerstone sponsors for this project.
The scoreboard was installed in April and has already been in use at several school and community events.
The DV Educational Foundation was established in 1992 as a broad-based, non-profit community organization, the school district explained. Its purpose is to secure resources from individuals, corporations, community organizations, and other foundations in order to benefit the students of the Delaware Valley school district.
