DV seniors Emily Jacobus and Shira Michel win scholarships
Milford. The Greater Pike Community Foundation partners with organizations, businesses, and individuals to establish memorial scholarships for deserving students.
Delaware Valley High School seniors Emily Jacobus and Shira Michel received scholarships from the Greater Pike Community Foundation to pursue higher education in the fall.
Jacobus received $600 from the Gouse-Krawitz Memorial Scholarship Fund established by the Pike County Chamber of Commerce.
Michel received $1,500 from the newly established Sydney Fluck ‘Syd’s Kids’ Scholarship fund established by the Fluck and Luhrs families to assist with college tuition costs. Michel is the first “Syd’s Kid” to receive this award.
