DV students ‘give a hoot’ about food chains

Delaware Valley Elementary School students in Carol Navitsky’s fourth-grade class recently learned about food chains. As part of the lesson, they dissected owl pellets and identified various types of animal bones that were found in the pellets. This helped them to see what animals were a part of the owl’s food chain.
