Early childhood advocate speaks with high school students

Mrs. Luann Scardino from the Mountain View School in Matamoras on Sept. 18 visited Mrs. Beth Pavinich’s Early Childhood Education Level 1 classroom at Delaware Valley High School. Scardino is an early childhood advocate and makes frequent visits to the classroom to discuss various topics in the field. During last week's discussion, she expressed the importance of observing children and maintaining confidentiality. She spoke with high school students about why we observe children, and shared some tips and tools to properly write an observation.
