Exit closure announced for I-84 East in Pike County
Tafton. The closure will last through the third week of July.
Exit 26 (Tafton/Promised Land State Park) from I-84 eastbound will be closed beginning July 9, 2024, through the third week of July to install drainage pipes. A local detour will be in place. Work is weather-dependent.
When encountering a work zone, PennDOT asks motorists to drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both travel lanes to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.
