The kickoff event will feature a barbeque and fellowship gathering on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 12 to 3 p.m. at GAIT Equine Assisted Services, located at 314 Foster Hill Rd, Milford. Regular fellowship sessions will continue weekly on Fridays from 12 to 2 p.m.

”We are thrilled to launch the second year of our Veteran Fellowship Program,” said Eva Warner, executive director at GAIT. “This program provides a meaningful space for veterans to connect, share experiences, and benefit from the unique therapeutic environment provided by equine-assisted activities.”

The program remains free for veterans and welcomes both returning participants and new attendees. GAIT encourages veterans throughout the community to join the kickoff event, enjoy food and fellowship, and learn more about this supportive and enriching program.
