Rep. Joe Adams (R-Pike/Wayne) is partnering with the NEPA Center for Independent Living (MyCIL) and providing meeting space in his district office for individuals with disabilities, ages 18 and over, and their families to meet with representatives to learn about available programs and resources.
On the first Monday of every month, beginning in March, staff from MyCIL will be available in the district office, located at 2523 Route 6, Suite 2, Hawley.
Information and resources will be shared on how to obtain home and community-based services, transportation and housing resources, and other services to promote greater independence in the community.
Appointments are required and are 30 minutes in length. Available time slots are between the hours of 10 a.m. and noon.
Those interested in scheduling an appointment should contact the district office at 570-226-5959.
