The Pike County Conservation District is looking for a new Resource Conservationist. This full-time position includes administrative, technical, and operational-level work in the fields of erosion control, stormwater management and waterways management related to PA Department of Environmental Protection Rules and Regulations.
The position requires excellent communication skills, computer knowledge, ability to read maps/construction plans, math skills and organizational abilities. A bachelor’s degree in environmental science, water resources, engineering technology or a closely related natural resource field and one to two years of related experience is preferred. Compensation includes salary plus county benefits package.
