Homeowner’s resource fair coming soon
Hawley. Learn about water testing, whether solar panels are right for your home, and more.
The Pike/Wayne Conservation Partnership will be hosting the Homeowner’s Resource Fair, allowing new and established homeowners to learn all about the area’s local organizations and environmental resources. There will also be experts on hand to answer environmental science questions.
Fair-goers can learn about the following issues: how to get your well water tested, how to protect yourself from ticks, whether your home can be fitted with solar panels, and more.
The fair will include representatives from the following organizations: PA DCNR, Lackawanna College, Northern Tier Hardwood Association, Penn State Extension, Pike County Conservation District, Pike County Planning & Mapping, PPL Electric Utilities, SEEDS, Sierra Club, Wayne Conservation District, and more.
Select fair-goers will also get a chance to take home native pollinator plants and local recreation maps while supplies last.
