Honesdale. COVID uptick forces visitation restrictions at nursing home
Out of an abundance of caution and concern for the safety of residents and staff, Wayne Woodlands Manor is temporarily restricting visitation as of Friday, Aug. 18, at its facility in Waymart, due to an increase in COVID cases.
No visitors will be allowed for the time being to enter the skilled nursing facility, the Wayne Memorial Health System announced in a press release on Aug. 28.
In addition to visitor restrictions, staff is following all safety, masking and isolation protocols necessary to protect residents and personnel.
