Library to hold bird feeder workshop Dec. 7
Milford. This program was made possible by a partnership with the Delaware Valley FBLA.
The Pike County Public Library (PCPL) is offering a new winter bird feeder workshop on December 7 at 1 p.m. This program will be run by Delaware Valley Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members. This year, DV FBLA is striving to implement new community events and activities to satisfy their goal of fulfilling environmental needs in the area.
Vidhi Patel, DV FBLA’s community service director, said, “Often I feel that a lot of our residents believe in the stereotype that if one wants to make a positive impact for the betterment of our community, they have to do big events or activities that may be costly. But we, DV FBLA, believe that even the smallest and simplest forms of giving can be beneficial for the community. That is why we decided that our community service project this year will be oriented towards environmental aspects such as creating bird feeders! We live in an area where snow storms hit us at random times and so it is crucial that we take care of our surrounding environment and wildlife.”
