Local couple celebrates 50 years together

On November 18, Chuck and Celeste O’Neil celebrated 50 years of marriage. Milford borough residents since 1982, they gathered with family to renew their vows at Barckley Park, reciting together Chuck’s poem “November.”
The last stanza reads:
November again Love
Leaves all down
The light we love easing in
And a sense the world’s ending
A sense we’re starting out as before
From weather to weather
For richer for poorer
Well-wishers waving
The two of us
Leaving the mainland
The weekend also included the Sondheim musical, “Company,” at the Milford Theater, and dinner at La Posada. In lieu of gifts, donations were made to the O’Neil Family Fund, Greater Pike Community Foundation.
