Local Democrats open campaign headquarters in Milford
Milford. At the new headquarters, local residents can obtain yard signs, bumper stickers, pins, flags, and banners and sign up to help with a variety of campaign activities.
The Delaware Valley Action! organization has opened a campaign headquarters in Milford to support the campaign of candidates who share its values. These include Joe Biden for U.S. president, Kamala Harris for U.S. vice president, Matt Cartwright for U.S. Congress, and Adam Rodriguez for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, District 189.
Located in the historic Forest Hall building at the corner of Broad and Harford Streets (at the traffic light), the headquarters is equipped with yard signs, bumper stickers, pins, flags, and banners for Biden and Harris, Cartwright, and Rodriguez. The headquarters has large socially distanced rooms for envelope-stuffing and phone-banking.
The office is open from noon through 6 p.m. from Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Local residents are able also to sign up to volunteer to help with a variety of campaign activities.
U.S. Rep. Cartwright attended the official opening on Aug. 30 and thanked Pike County for its support.
Since the beginning operations a week ago, the headquarters has been a hub of walk-in traffic and volunteer activities.
