Ramapo Catskill Library System (RCLS) and the 47 member libraries it serves will undergo an integrated library system upgrade Aug. 1 through Aug. 4 to “improve access to materials, enhance research capabilities and amplify the overall library experience for users online and in-person,” RCLS announced.

During the upgrade, certain online library services, including searching for materials, placing holds, and checking your account will be temporarily unavailable. Each library is adjusting its hours of operation differently, and some may be closed, so check with your local library to confirm their hours.

Your library card number/barcode, PIN, and account information will remain the same and access to resources such as Libby, Hoopla and more will continue.

Local libraries within RCLS include: The Albert Wisner Public Library, Florida Public Library, Greenwood Lake Public Library, Chester Public Library, Goshen Public Library, Monroe Free Library, Tuxedo Park Library, Port Jervis Free Library, and both Woodbury library branches (Rushmore branch and the Ida Cornell branch). For more information and updates, contact your local library or visit their website: rcls.org.
