Local students earn top grades at college
Milford. Several universities recently shared their lists of local students who made the Dean’s List.

Pike County has a lot of high achievers in its midst. As the fall semester concluded, several colleges and universities shared their lists of students who achieved Dean’s List status. To get on the Dean’s List, students typically have to maintain a high grade point average while taking a certain number of courses or credit hours per semester, depending on the school.
Below are the students who made it onto the Dean’s Lists of their respective schools during the fall semester.
Bucknell University
Greentown: Marlee Olsson, Class of 2027, studying biology.
Matamoras: Tawhid Jahangir, Class of 2025, studying economics.
Quinnipiac University

University of Pittsburgh at Bradford
Bushkill: Emma Weir, Class of 2025, studying criminal justice.
Dickinson College
Dingmans Ferry: Ava Nienstadt, Class of 2025, studying art and art history. She is the daughter of Glen Nienstadt and Susan Bannon.
