Lords Valley. Memorial golf outing to benefit St. Patrick’s Parish programs

The Second Annual Deacon Cliff Memorial Golf Outing is set for June 12, at Lords Valley Country Club, 1004 Hemlock Farms Road in Lords Valley.

The event is named in memory of Cliff Jorgenson, the late banking executive, businessman and Permanent Deacon at St. Patrick’s Church in Milford. It will benefit the parish’s adult and children’s faith formation programs and People Helping People, its non-profit entity that provides basic life necessities to individuals and families experiencing devastating financial hardship (in collaboration with St. Joseph’s Parish in Matamoras). The honorary chairperson is Mary Jorgenson.

The day will begin at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start. It will feature a scramble golf format, continental breakfast, cart snacks, access to putting greens and pro shop, as well as a $10,000 Hole-in-One and prizes for longest drive, closest to the pin and other contests. An awards buffet will follow at Jorgenson’s at the Dimmick Inn in Milford.
