LWV Pike County announces debate for 139th Legislative District

The League of Women Voters of Pike County will provide voters with an opportunity to hear from the two candidates running in the November 5 general election to represent the 139th Legislative District of Pennsylvania.
On Thursday, September 19 at 7 p.m., a debate will be held between incumbent Rep. Jeff Olsommer (R) and Robin Skibber (D) at the Wallenpaupack Middle School auditorium in Hawley. Blue Ridge Cable television will carry the event live.
The general public will be able to attend and submit questions through the League’s website at lwvpike.org. All questions will be reviewed and submitted to the question sorters at the debate on September 19. The League asks that questions deal with issues relevant to Pennsylvania and Pike and Wayne counties. Questions worded as a personal attack on a candidate will be rejected.
