Mary Margaret Jonas Memorial Scholarship now accepting applications

The Delaware-Dingman Twps. Democratic Club has announced a change for high school students to win $1,000 to go towards their college fund, trade school tuition, or military aspirations. No political affiliation is required to apply and win.

According to the club, this is a nonpartisan joint venture between the DTDC, local businesses, and interested individuals. All students must be residents of either Delaware or Dingman townships and will include children being homeschooled, attending charter/private schools, or attending public schools.

To apply, fill out an application with the necessary information, answer the self-reflective essay question, and submit all required materials to DTDCscholarship@gmail.com or mail to DTDC, PO Box 633, Dingmans Ferry, PA 18328. Applications must be emailed or postmarked by April 27, 2024.

The scholarship will be awarded at the DTDC Margaret Mary Jonas Memorial Scholarship Dinner, to be held at Fáilte! Steakhouse, Rt. 739, Dingmans Ferry, on Sunday, June 9 from 5 to 9 p.m. For ticket information and information regarding the scholarship, visit delawaretwpdemocrats.org.
