The Pike County Commissioners have confirmed that the Pennsylvania Secretary of the Dept. of Health’s order requiring a mask in specific settings also applies to county government buildings.
When inside Pike County facilities, masks covering the mouth and nose must be worn by employees and the public when exiting and entering public buildings.
They must be worn in common areas such as break rooms, restrooms, hallways and elevators, while interacting with others, even if social distancing is maintained.
Commissioners said it is vital that everyone works together to keep the community safe and healthy.
