Matamoras. DVES Structure Team wins Odyssey of the Mind tourney

The Delaware Valley Elementary School Odyssey of the Mind Structure Team of Nicole Helt, Dominick DeLauro, Rachel Pflanz, Connor Stewart, Taryn Kaylor, Mia Pavinich, Jovey Thiele, Nicole Helt, Olivia Pitrelli, Scarlett Coleman, Declan Dorcas and Jayce Jacobs.
The Delaware Valley Elementary School Odyssey of the Mind (OM) Structure Team was recently interviewed on DVE-TV’s morning show after their first-place win in the OM States competition.
They were asked to make several structures in case one broke during the competition - but the structure could not weigh more than 18 grams. The team’s creation held up to 610 pounds, which won the competition.
They will next attend the OM World Finals in Michigan, May 24-27, 2023.
