Middle schoolers create wildlife food plot
Dingmans Ferry. The plot will be a perfect snacking stop for local wildlife.

Through a grant from the Pike County Conservation District students of the Dingman-Delaware Middle School created a “Wildlife Food Plot,” the school district recently shared.
According to the school district, students readied the land, seeded the area with several different types of wildlife forage, then planted pear trees. The students who took part in the conservation project were Jamosen Kirschner, Emma Wells, Isabella Puiu, Cooper Wallace, Leah Sims, and Stephanie Dougherty.
The school district said the grant was secured by Dave Koretz.
