Milford. Black Bear Film Festival announces 2023 poster competition
The people behind the Black Bear Film Festival have issued a call for artists for the 2023 Poster Competition.
This year’s festival - the 24th annual - will take place Oct. 13-15 in Milford.

Eligibility
The contest is open to everyone. All entries should be submitted on an individual basis. No shared work is allowed.
Entry limit
One poster entry per person.
Deadline
Entries must be submitted by April 14.
Objective
Design a poster that celebrates the annual Black Bear Film Festival that reflects the art of filmmaking, the black bear and the area where we live.
The final poster will be used as the festival’s main poster.

The 2022 Festival Poster was designed by artist Amy Milner.
According to the festival’s web site, Milner is a creative writing major and graphic design minor at Binghamton University. She plays on Binghamton’s club ice hockey team and enjoys painting in her free time. She is from Ithaca, N.Y.
She features local buildings on her poster, the Pike County Courthouse, the Milford Theater, the Columns Museum and Grey Towers.
