A congregation of nearly 300 parents, grandparents, guardians and sponsors were in attendance as 17 area candidates received the Sacrament of Confirmation recently at St. Patrick’s Church in Milford.
Seventeen candidates with stoles featuring a descending Holy Spirit and their chosen Confirmation names, participated. The ceremonies included the celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, renewal of Baptismal Promises, Laying on of Hands and Anointing of Chrism.
Each student received a Certificate of Confirmation signed by the pastor, Rev. Joseph Manarchuck.
Newly confirmed are: Christopher Alfaro, Brendan Baird, Harrison Bixby, Samuel Carlozzi, Alyssa Donatone, Olivia Coe, Matthew Ertola, Jack Gagnon, Sara Gagnon, Matthew Marotta, Jack Morris, Alexandra Morton, Sophia Mullen, Isabella Oliveira, Lucas Purdon, Emily Sullivan and Robert Young.
