The Delaware Highlands Conservancy will host its sixth annual juried photo contest - “Confluence: Land, Water, Wildlife” - for the Upper Delaware River region. The contest is open to professional and amateur photographers.
Photographers are invited to capture striking nature photos in five categories: landscape, wildlife, macro, water, and the Van Scott Nature Reserve, plus a youth category for photographers under age 18. Entrants are encouraged to be creative in showcasing the diverse wildlife, plants, and special places of our region without disturbing or harming any creature or its habitat.
Photos will be judged on creativity, originality, composition, clarity and quality, and impact, and must be taken in the Upper Delaware River region to be eligible. Photos may be taken during any season.
Photographers may submit no more than two photos via the Conservancy’s website from August 1 until August 31, 2023. Entrants must agree to the Official Rules and submit a $15 entry fee to be eligible (youth entries are free). The winning photos will be chosen by a panel of judges, and, along with one People’s Choice winner, hung at the ARTery gallery in Milford in November.
