Milford’s Secret Garden Tour slated for July 13
Milford. Ticket proceeds help support the Club’s beautification efforts.
The annual Secret Garden Tour, sponsored by the Milford Garden Club, is scheduled for Saturday, July 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (rain or shine). Celebrating their 30th year, this event gathers garden lovers from the tri-state area and beyond, welcoming them into the unique gardens of the Club’s members and supporters.
This self-guided tour takes visitors throughout Milford Borough and beyond. Two of the highlighted gardens are public parks in Milford that are maintained by the Milford Garden Club. Five others are hidden backyard gems maintained by homeowners.
Advanced tickets are $15 per person (children under 12 are free) and can be purchased by sending a check postmarked by July 6. Tickets are also available at the Artesian Exchange or Willow. Or you can send a check to MGC, PO Box 764, Milford, PA 18337. “Day of” tickets are available for $20.
Visitors begin at Remembrance Place located on the corner of West Ann Street and Elderberry Alley (behind Stroyan Funeral Home).
There will also be raffle baskets, prepared by members. Centered on gardens, each offers a variety of items, including gift certificates to local shops. Proceeds go to support the Club’s beautification program and scholarship opportunities.
