Music in the Park kick-offs at the Waterwheel

MILFORD — Kick off the 2015 season of Music in the Park with its February fundraiser, happening this Saturday at the Waterwheel Café in Milford.

This year the fundraiser spotlights local talent, including Carl Ferriere Jr., Olivia Zinn, Charlie Reynolds, Dan Ehart, and Tara and Eric Yetter. Eric was one of the founders of the venue and is returning after having last performed in the park in 2012.

The host band is They Know.
The music begins at 7:30 p.m. and continues until around 10:30 p.m. The invitation says: "Come early, stay late, party and help us set the tone for the 2015 Music in the Park Summer Concert series. We won't know until after the fundraiser who will be performing this year, but good things are coming, we can tell you that."

About Music in the ParkCo-sponsored by Milford Borough, Music in the Park is the annual free summer concert series presented on Sunday afternoons in Ann Street Park. The series begins with Milford's Music Festival and continues through the summer.
