No need to be lonely, the Girl Scouts say

MILFORD — Junior Girl Scout Troop 52-129 of the Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania were recently interviewed on DVE-News/TV. They explained that they are going for their Bronze award, which is the highest award a Junior Girl Scout can achieve that helps their community.
The Girl Scouts said they bought a new "Buddy Bench" and painted it. They earned the money through their cookie sale profits. The reason they chose the buddy bench is that they wanted everyone to have friends at recess and felt that no one should feel alone. They were inspired by Mrs. Zito who began the Buddy Bench project this year at DVES.
