Pike business owner teaches digital marketing on Facebook Live

SHOHOLA — There are so many ways for business owners to get the word out — from Facebook to Instagram to Google My Business, to search engine marketing to press releases.

In August, Tim Sohn of Sohn Social Media Solutions, based in Shohola, launched the weekly Facebook Live show with his friend and co-host, Jim Fuhs of Fuhsion Marketing, which is based in Marietta, Georgia.
Over the summer, Sohn was watching a Facebook Live show about online marketing, and the hosts brought Fuhs on the video.
"I was impressed," Sohn said. "He was talking about Instagram TV, which had only been released recently at the time. I was thinking, ‘Wow, this guy really stays on top of the latest trends in social media.’ So, after doing some research, I reached out to Jim to see if he’d be interested in launching a weekly Facebook Live show with me — focused on all things marketing, public relations and entrepreneurship. He said yes.”
Fuhs said he too had wanted to start a show.
"It proves that technology lets us be connected no matter where we live, as we will both get to meet each other in real life for the first time at Social Media Marketing World 2019 in March," Fuhs said.
“Small business owners and entrepreneurs get so overwhelmed with both traditional and online/social media marketing," said Sohn. "We bring on expert guests — and we chime in — to help bring focus to the confusion."
