— Kahr Arms, a subsidiary of Saeilo Enterprises, closed the purchase of the Pike County Business Park on Well Road, the Pike County Business Development Corporation announced on Dec. 11.

Justin Moon, president of Saeilo Enterprises and son of the Rev. Sun Myung Moon, founder the Unification Church, said he hopes to break ground by the end of the year.

The New York arms manufacturing company will begin constructing a 40,000 square foot facility to house both their corporate offices and a manufacturing center on the 12-acre parcel (Lot 5) on the 600-acre property.

“This company will bring the park back on the tax rolls and create much needed jobs,” said county Commissioner Mathew Osterberg. “We look forward to the positive impact to our local economy that Kahr Arms will bring.”

The Pike County Economic Business Development Corporation’s President, Robert Pierce, gave special thanks to Davis R. Chant Realtors, Dave Chant and Pete Helms for brokering the sale, "as well as Commissioner Mathew Osterberg and the Blooming Grove Township supervisors just to name a few....This has been a long process but I think Kahr Arms will be a perfect fit for Pike County.”
