Pike County Public Library invites the community to celebrations of literacy and imagination at its Family Day and Grand Opening events.
The Pike County Public Library invite the community to join in celebrating the grand ribbon cutting ceremony for its brand-new Children’s Room and updated Teen Space on Sept. 7 at 11 a.m. at the library located at 119 East Harford St. in Milford.
Family Day celebration will take place on Sunday, Sept. 10, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the library as well.
The Family Day and Grand Opening event will mark the unveiling of the brand-new Children’s Room and Teen Space, designed to provide an engaging and welcoming environment for young readers and learners. With this expansion, the library aims to foster a love for reading and promote literacy among children and teenagers in the Pike County community.
During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a range of activities and entertainment suitable for all ages. Guest readers will captivate young minds with enchanting tales, while games and crafts will engage children in creativity and fun. Snacks will be provided to keep everyone energized throughout the festivities.
