Port Jervis Police PBA lends support to Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program
Port Jervis. The Salvation Army Angel Tree program helps to provide Christmas gifts for children across the community each year.
The City of Port Jervis Police Department and Police Benevolent Association recently shared the many gifts they were able to provide for the Salvation Army’s annual Angel Tree program, thanks to donations and support from a variety of community members and organizations.
“The City of Port Jervis Police Department and Police Benevolent Association would like to express our sincere gratitude to our community partners, family, and friends of the PJPD PBA, teachers, staff and family members at Anna S. Kuhl Elementary School, PJ City Clerk’s Office, and PJ Community Development Office who helped to adopt 46 Angels locally through the Port Jervis Salvation Army to ensure that local children experience the magic of Christmas this year,” the department shared on social media. “Thank you, Salvation Army Captains Tabitha and Scott Swires and all the wonderful staff who serve our community, proving help and hope to our neighbors in need throughout the year!”
