Registration now open for Rotary Hoop Shoot challenge

The deadline to register for the annual Milford-Matamoras Rotary Club Basketball Hoop Shoot challenge is fast approaching. Students looking to participate must register by March 3. All student registration forms will be distributed at each elementary school.

Hoop Shoot is an annual event held in all four of Delaware Valley School District’s elementary buildings. To fulfill the Rotary’s mission of “Service Above Self,” this event benefits the Delaware Valley High School scholarship program as well as the Delaware Valley third-grade book project. The Hoop Shoot is a collaborative effort between Rotary and the school district, and its success depends on the participation of local young people.

Traditionally held on a Saturday morning, this year’s event will be held after school on March 20, March 25, and April 3. All student participants will receive a T-shirt; additional prizes and trophies will be given to the top fundraisers.
