Rotary club donates to food pantry

The Milford-Matamoras Rotary Club held its annual soup kitchen lunch on November 20 at the The Dimmick Inn in Milford. Each club member shared their chef talents at preparing their favorite soup, bread, and dessert recipe.
On that day, the members honored Thanksgiving by donating their lunch money and additional funds to help support the Ecumenical Food Pantry in Milford for the holiday. According to a Rotary representative, the donated funds totaled $820.
The Milford-Matamoras Rotary Club meets every Wednesday at 12:15 p.m. at the Dimmick Inn in Milford. Anyone interested in becoming a member may contact Shaun Burger at 570-517-6654 or come to a meeting.
