‘Service of Light and Shadow’ to take place Dec. 21

Milford United Methodist Church, located at 206 E. Ann St. in Milford, invites all to a Service of Light and Shadow on Saturday December 21, beginning at 5 p.m. This service is being held on the longest night of the year and immediately following this service, participants will hold a candlelight vigil to support those who may be homeless, unhoused or at risk to be.

At 6 p.m., everyone is invited to join the church and share a simple meal of soup and sandwiches. Donations for the Tri-State Warming Station are welcome. Most needed items are women’s underwear, as well as socks and gloves.
