Shelby Bodnar to student-teach at Delaware Valley

— Shelby Bodnar of Milford is among eight teacher education majors at Misericordia University to receive her student-teacher assignment for the fall semester. She will do her student teaching at the Delaware Valley School District in Milford.
Eight student-teachers participated in the program, which prepares the undergraduates for classroom observation and instruction in several regional school districts. The Teacher Education Department at Misericordia requires student teachers to observe student instruction for 14 weeks in two different classrooms as part of their educational and professional experience. Students spend the school day in their assigned classrooms at first observing and then gradually teaching classes.

Miranda Bellas of Dupont is student teaching in the Pittston Area School District
Joseph DePue of Pringle is student teaching at the Wyoming Valley West School District
Whitney Ellenberg of Rockaway, N.J., has been assigned to the Wyoming Valley West and Tunkhannock school districts
Michelle Jeffries of Tunkhannock is student teaching at the Dallas and Tunkhannock school districts
Danielle McDonald of Avoca has been assigned to the Wyoming Area School District
Kristin Stuffick of Harveys Lake is student teaching at the Lake Lehman and Dallas school districts
